Valemount

Valley in the Mountains

The Village of Valemount lies in a natural, park-like valley surrounded by towering snowcapped mountains. It is situated at the confluence of three mountain ranges; the Monashee, Cariboo and Rocky Mountains. So have your camera ready for some of the most spectacular scenery and breathtaking views in British Columbia!

Valemount is a nature lover’s paradise with Mount Robson, the highest peak in Canada, a short 20 minute drive from the Village. Mount Robson Provincial Park is home to black bears, grizzlies, moose and elk.

For the active outdoor enthusiast, summer activities include heli-hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, canoeing, and fishing. Explore the backcountry on horseback or on a guided ATV tour. Two golf courses guarantee spectacular scenery and available tee times.

In winter, Valemount is home of the best alpine snowmobiling and dog-sledding and the base for the finest backcountry heli-skiing and snowcat skiing.
